Legendary Clemson football coach Frank Howard kisses the "Big Thursday" football series good-by after Clemson's 27-0 victory over the University of South Carolina on October 22, 1959 game in Columbia. Clemson won 27 - 0 and the next year, the Gamecocks came to Clemson for the first time (and lost 12-2).
