"The Tenth Horse" is the second in an ongoing series of works featuring and honoring African American soldiers. The first was "Midnight Hour" and the third is "...Dress on the Colors".
Depicting the rugged campaigning of Troop K, Tenth U.S. Cavalry Regiment in Arizona during the Spring of 1886, this limited edition print captures this famous outfit in a military expedition against Apache warrior Geronimo and his loyal followers.

1998 marks the 122st year of continuous service for the Tenth United States Cavalry, a historical milestone achieved by devoted peacetime service and gallant wartime deeds.
